Seems like something a writer's assistant might be in charge of. I was just wondering how much work goes into actually plotting out the fictional days and events that transpire in order to keep continuity together? Do you guys keep a calendar of what has happened when? I know a lot of people think it's odd that Sam and Lenny heard the numbers 16 years ago, about the same time Danielle switched the transmission. I'm wondering if those things are carefully plotted out to avoid continuity errors or not (for instance, if Sam had heard the numbers 15 years ago, that would have created a paradox of sorts).
I'm probably too much a fan of the show, because I've put up a simply page to help me keep the timeline and other bits of data sorted: http://www.cubit.net/lostStuff.php
I know a few of you behind the show are comic fans, and perhaps Sci-Fi fans in general. I was wondering if anyone is going to Celebration III this year? I'm hoping to go to show off a Star Wars fan film I worked as AD on, "The Unknown Discovery" ( http://www.twentyoneproductions.com/starwarsparody/index.html ), which was shot in HD - my first experience working in High Def - very cool. Who wouldn't love working with storm troopers?!
I also recently concluded my first indepedent feature length project, which I directed, a mockumentary about a 30 year old who decides to pursue a career in ninja ( http://films.cubit.net/hiyah ). Hopefully, someday I'll be doing something like you guys are doing now. I've got a lot of stories I want to tell... but it is a hard business to break into.
Keep up the good work, and I'll keep watching like a monkey on a cup cake,
