Both times that Claire has seen her father, Par Avion and Something Nice Back Home, she has had an injury to the right side of her head. In Par Avion and Something Nice Back Home she was wearing a bandage over the same spot. I just found it odd that the only times we've seen Claire with this kind of injury she has seen her father.

ive been wondering myself bc it seems some sort of mental anguish or injury causes these ghost sightings... i mean hurley is a perfect example in a mental institution too. Kinda begs the question is it all in their head or real? I know Miles said she walked off with someone... do we know for sure that HE saw Christian and not just someone that Claire hallucinated was her father?

I think that's interesting but Christian was real in the flashback as he was alive and we had already seen in Australia looking for his daughter.

Plus if you remember, Claire's aunt was able to see him as well and I don't think she had any head injury. Maybe some mental stress since she hated him.
