Not sure it is Sir Richard Burton. I think we need to look around some more.

Most bloggers have identified it as Burton.
He translated Arabian Knights, and there was a Knight subtext in CF. Locke's school mascot was the Knights and there was at least one prominent knight prop in his scenes.

Throughout the seasons there have been "knight" props or allusions around Locke and Hurley... I used to have a collection of screencaps and dialog but deleted them.
There have knight chess references of course, and at one time I felt like Kate's black horse was a subtle knight clue.

I should add that Arabian Knights is what we know as Arabian Nights, just got off on the Knights rift... because it's an old favorite of mine..
