First off, EXCELLENT episode, Locke's dream? *shivers* And we all know that dreams definetly mean something on that island. It was just so wild how it all turned out, with Boone standing on the hatch, covered in blood, talking about signs..kind of like callng death..
But the transmission is one of the most debated things about of the night. Those who watched it on closed captioning said that it said, "There were no survivors of flight 815" but I rewatched it dozens of times, the sound loud as I could get it- without driving my parents insane, of course:) and I could've sworn I heard, "No- WE'RE the survivors of flight 815" other's say they heard, "There was no flight 815" and even "No- we're On flight 815" I definetly heard we and survivors though. Wouldn't any pilot right off say "where are you?"
Tail section of the plane, right? In a way I was hoping they were all dead, it would kind of ruin the whole fate thing, which has actually worked very well, you know, "Why does a plane that fly the same route multiple times suddenly fly off course one day, breaking off into three parts, and only having the middle survive" Well, tecnically, the pilot's alive, isn't he? The "monster" thing, right? But where did they get the transmission? A certain crazy French woman? Because hers still has to be out there somewhere, right?
And while I'm rambling, can you also clarify something else? Was it the gunk Locke put on his head that made Boone have that dream? I could've sworn it was the island- no one else had it one their heads when they 'saw' the 'monster'. But they weren't dreaming either..
Or were they?
