You played an Iraqi woman on Sayid's episode of Lost, and I'm just wondering, are you Iraqi in real-life? I'm curious because I have no idea what an Iraqi accent sounds like (although I do love Nadia's) or looks like, and also because I know Naveen Andrews who plays Sayid is not actually Iraqi. I checked your IMDB page but can't tell from there.

Hey there, dear. Thank you! No, I'm not actually Iraqi, but I am of middle eastern heritage (amongst others-- I'm what you call a mutt). The Iraqi accent just came from some research on my part. I love working with accents for roles-- actually when I have a role where I just speak with an American one I feel way more self-conscious. Throw me some dialogue in foreign language or a dialect any day.
