Good Morning.

I am intrigued on this aspect of "the others". It a very interesting aspect of their survival. I have lead a discussion on this subject on many discussion groups (google, yahoo and ect...) I think that soon (this season or next) there might be a "flashback" of somesorts (maybe 1 or 2 episodes) of "the others" and this aspect (I feel) might be crutial to it's tale.
I have theorized that the island might have accidently been taken over by Japaneese during WWII and "the others" learned their tactics of Jungle Warfare from them, but that is my theory and I am (in no means) trying to suggest a change from your origional idea of where they learned this technique.
It could even be that this aspect of LOST (the others survival over 100's of years) could be used in another series (possibly a spinnoff) after season six is complete (or possibly before). Just about everyone I spoke to would watch this potential series extention to the LOST.
